Terms of payment

The most common payment term in the industry is Prepay by wire, ACH, check, credit card or by financing unless you have/are (i) an established credit with the vendor, (ii) a publicly traded company, (iii) a large organization, (iv) and educational or a governmental organization. If you are not one of these, we encourage you to choose one of the Prepayment methods to increase participation of vendors and get best favorable prices. The following payment terms also available to those who qualify are Net 60, 30 & 15, COD and an escrow service.

Instrument conditions

Brand New

The instrument must be brand new; it could be an open box so long as it has not been used for any reason. The provider must offer at least 1-year warranty.

Refurbished

All consumables and parts identified by the manufacturer in their Preventive Maintenance Protocols must be replaced with brand new parts regardless of their current condition; and the instrument must perform to PM Performed level. The Provider must offer 180-days parts and labor warranty.

Tested Working

The system must be tested and in working order without any regard to a specific criterion besides yielding reasonable outcome. The test reports must be uploaded to the system prior to shipment of the instrument. The Provider must offer 30-days parts and labor warranty.

Self Tested

These instruments are those that turn on and pass the self-test & initialization, if applicable without any error messages; and only guaranteed to this extent for 3 days after the delivery. After 3 days, the sale becomes final; and it can only be returned if it fails to turn on and fail the initialization/self-test.

Part Units

These instruments are offered as-is, for parts only. All sales are as-is, final, and non-returnable.

Service contract levels

Platinum

Customer’s issues have to be responded within 1 business day; and the issue(s) have to be resolved within a week. This level of Service Contract comes with one Preventive Maintenance with one set of consumables a year; and any additional consumables are charged to customer at cost while labor is covered by the contract. The entire hardware is fully covered by the Service provider.

Gold

Customer’s issues have to be responded within 3 business days; and the issue(s) have to be resolved within 2 weeks. This level of Service Contract comes with one Preventive Maintenance with one set of consumables a year; and any additional consumables are charged to customer at cost while labor is covered by the contract. The entire hardware is fully covered by the Service provider.

Bronze

Customer’s issues have to be responded within 3 business day; and the issue(s) have to be resolved within 2 weeks. This level of Service Contract doesn’t include Preventive Maintenance, nor any consumables. All consumable parts are charged to the customer at cost while labor is covered by the contract. The entire hardware, excluding consumables, is fully covered by the Service provider.
